late 1990s and early 2000s. Lakefront lots from the rice-field era.
Silverlake
mid-1990s to early 2000s. Large, and partly outside the city limits.
Highland Glen
Built in stages. Lakes, Enclave and Preserve sections, built in stages.
Shadow Creek Ranch
sales from 2001. West of SH 288, split between Brazoria and Fort Bend.
Southern Trails
2000s into the 2010s. 523 acres west of SH 288.
Manvel
2020s boom. The next city south, doubling in five years.
Alvin
incorporated 1893. Brazoria County’s oldest incorporated town.
Brookside Village
incorporated 1959. A small city Pearland wraps on three sides.
